昨日ニュースで世界で1番物価の高い都市にシンガポールがなったと聞きました。
I heard Singapore is become highest cost of living in the world by yesterday’s news.

ただここ20年のうち15年は東京が首位だったので一時的なものなんだとか。
But, it is temporary because Tokyo was 15 times highest in this 20 years.

そういえば来月から日本は消費税が8%になりますね。
By the way, Japanese consumption tax increase from 5 to 8 percent from next month.
